Chicken broody day 25, one egg hatched.?

I have a broody hen, today is day 25 and still only one chick came out, precisely it came out on day 23, i crack an egg yesterday and found blood coming out of crack so i threw it , i dont know what the blood indicates. What to do ? Shall i wait for the other eggs to hatch, should i try to break another egg ? how can i know chicks are inside? Wil the lonely chick survive as her mother is all te time in nest because of the eggs and he might be hungry ?
