Censorship on smoking ban?

I remember seeing on tv a spokesman for the independant brewers ociation in Scotland saying how many pubs had closed over the ban. I think the time that pubs will be most affected by this is in England is in winter. None of the pubs in the town I live in has put up shelters for smokers and a few of them seem to have permanent crowds of smokers outside on sunny days - made up mainly of women, surprisingly enough.
