Is the daily telegraph pro crime? if not then why the hell did they give a blog to this corrupt cop?

Newspapers hire opinion writers to generate interest. A good writer (for the newspaper) will create discussion pro AND con, among the readers. Some will like him, some will hate him. As long as they read it, the paper is happy.
