My dog is shedding so bad what can i do?

I have a long haired chihuahua. Uri is six months old he has a great diet and is bathed every other week. Recently Uri`s hair has grown pretty long. The problem is that it is everywhere. Im pretty sure i cant completely stop it because dogs shed naturally anyway. So i wanted to know if there was anything i can do to reduce the shedding. So Any help plesee!
