Why are women so mean to me? It's as if I'm kryptonite to them?

Women say I'm too nice and that it comes off as insincere or too sincere. I get the lets just be friends speech or completely ignored. I think if i'm more successful I'll get a girl to dig me. I can't help but be nice to them. I'm just not a jerk. Maybe it comes off as condescending. But that's not my intention. How can I get a girl to dig me now a lot? Being myself doesn't seem to work well.
