What are some high-quality brands of beer?

I don't really like the taste of most brands of beer (Coors, Michelob, Genuine Draft, etc). I rarely drink any when I go out, so I really don't know much about beer. I tend to stick with liquor. But, what expensive, high-quality brands would you guys recommend?
