Why do christians ask things about religion until they get insulted?

Well I have noticed like this girl. She's a devout christian she was a close friend. And like I told her I was a muslim and now she won't quit bothering. I told her something about jesus's inadequacy and she freaked out. I have come across plenty of christian converts who no one asked about obnoxiously to talk to people like me. And then they'll get upset when I totally just say Jesus was just a guy or that I don't believe in 3 demi gods when they pretty much asked for my opinion. I mean if you don't want to know don't ask. Is that too hard to ask for?
